************************************************************ Windows 10 When I Want It 1.1.010 (Freeware by SysStreaming) ************************************************************ Personal notes -------------- Too little know, this wonderful small piece of software does what it says. It helps you get rid once and for all of the intrusive Update to Windows 10 and remove trackers installed by Windows 7/8/8.1 'Recommended / Important' updates. I upload this torrent to help promote this free software and I suggest you support the authors by downloading it directly from their website: http://win10wiwi.com/#hero (just enter your email address and get a direct download link). Usage - Runs from any location (portable) on Windows 7/8/8.1 x86/x64 - I recommend you disable Automatic updates prior to running the software, and grant it internet access while running if asked. - It took 14 minutes to complete on my Win7 x64 4GB RAM system - Virustotal analysis https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/dd78e77bcbf689bb12149017e86ce61f569c0647ff5d0ffc360a109b555d17af/analysis/1446963457/ Software description (from the authors) --------------------------------------- A simple tool to remove Windows 10 nags and recover up to 6GB of disk space Windows 10 upgrade and "Get windows 10" app will be removed from your computer after it rebooted and Windows updated its configuration based on changes that Win10wiwi has initiated. The Windows Updates that Win10wiwi processes for removing "Update to Windows 10" components are these ones: KB2952664, KB2976978, KB2990214, KB3035583, KB3044374, KB3046480 The Windows Updates that Win10wiwi processes for disabling tracker components are these ones: KB3021917, KB3022345, KB3068708, KB3075249 and KB3080149. And if I want to upgrade to Windows 10 after all? If you ever want to re-enable what Win10wiwi has disabled in your system, you can: - Use Win10wiwi expert mode and select the option "I Want Windows 10 now" in "My Choice". or - Restore the related hidden Windows updates, as described in here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/restore-and-install-hidden-updates If you decide to go the manual way instead of using Win10wiwi to re-enable the corresponding components, you should only unhide the Windows Updates that are hidden in the list above. Note that no computer on earth will have all these updates installed simultaneously: some of them are for Windows 7 while some other ones are for Windows 8 for instance. Whatever way you used to enable the "Upgrade to Windows 10" components and/or the "trackers" components, you must then have Windows Update install the corresponding updates. Note that it may take some time and several reboots to reinstall all these updates. Note also that even if there is no way to recover any file that Win10wiwi deleted during "Windows 10 installation files clean-up" phase, this is not a problem because the "Get Windows 10" app will be able to download them again and will do it as a background process if you leave it enough time to do so (and if you don't, it will fetch them when they are actually needed).
